I don't remember much about my life before getting to the Bureau, I'll admit, but I do remember that on these missions we'd often share our findings together on one of these posts.
So here's another little hub for sharing that information and perhaps missed connections, too.
I haven't found much myself out by the ruins, but I did notice... has anyone been hearing strange voices?
[ooc: as suggested, you can use this post to share your findings in one cool spot. Mia won't respond to everything, but that means you can pretty much threadjack as you wish.]

WAIT, IS THAT WHAT YOU DID?
WHAT DO KNOCK-KNOCK JOKES HAVE TO DO WITH SINGING??
[He doesn't know what thorns eat, either, but he's not about to admit to not knowing TWO things in the same message.]

if you think i'm not responding to these separately i am afraid you have a second think coming
twice the papyrus
nothing like a few knocks to get the bones rattlin

AN ALARM CLOCK OF WORDPLAY??

and you don't even need to get up early for it

I REALLY DON'T SEE THE APPEAL.
DREAMS ARE WEIRD. AND DISORIENTING.

maybe you'd remember stuff faster if you slept in
unless they're extra weird
[Sans is not actually sure how much stock he would really put into dreams in general, but there's a lot of weird magic involved here already.]

AND VERY NOT MADE OF MEMORIES.
UNLESS I SPENT TIME BEING NOBODY, IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE.
I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER I'M PAPYRUS IN SOME OF THEM.
[Come to think of it, maybe they are of memories. Like that time his face got removed. Could something so awful have happened more than once?? He'd rather not imagine it.]
I REMEMBER AGAIN WHEN I WAKE UP. SO IT'S FINE!!
BUT IT'S EASIER TO JUST NOT SLEEP.
no subject
weird
[Also vaguely familiar? But Sans doesn't really want to think about that.]
don't worry, i'll take some extra naps on your behalf

THANKS!!
I GUESS??
I'LL TAKE MORE, UH.
HEY, WHAT'S SOMETHING YOU DON'T LIKE.
WE SHOULD TRADE THIS, SO IT'S FAIR.

2/2; locked to papyrus
i remembered something from home
but don't get too excited
it's not a lot
[He said he'd help Papyrus with the memory thing, though, and maybe this will help?]
locked? to? sans? if they lock automatically in reply to another locked message
LIKE SOMETHING ABOUT BEING BROTHERS??
I'VE REMEMBERED A FEW THINGS, BUT THEY'RE ALL INCONSEQUENTIAL.
I'M SURE WHATEVER YOU REMEMBERED IS PLENTY!
[The one he remembered most recently was a fragment of pacing and admitting his worries to a person out of sight, anxieties about advancement bubbling up out of his mouth. Nothing worth sharing, he's sure.]
no subject
but maybe a place you'll remember
there was a town that snowed all the time
next to the woods
and in the woods there was this big door
[The stuff about the lady behind said door probably isn't immediately relevant to Papyrus, though admittedly he cannot say that for sure.]
no subject
A SNOW TOWN, AND TREES.
NOT THE DOOR PART.
IS THAT THE WHOLE MEMORY?? THERE WAS A DOOR???
[If so, Sans wasn't kidding when he said it wasn't a lot.]
no subject
i practiced knock knock jokes at the door
and there was a lady on the other side
we'd tell each other jokes
no subject
WHAT A WEIRD HOBBY!
GOOD THING YOU HAD THIS CONVENIENTLY-LOCATED DOOR AS A PROP.
I'M GLAD YOU'RE REMEMBERING ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS.

[Something in him wonders if he even told Papyrus about this before they both forgot everything. He's not sure how natural lying should feel, but he knows it does come very easily to him. But even to his brother?]
no subject
BUT NO, NOT REALLY.
IT DOESN'T SEEM LIKE MY KIND OF THING...
MAYBE, I DIDN'T TAG ALONG WITH YOU ON THAT.
no subject
[...]
nope, i got nothing
i was kinda hoping if i just started talking like i knew the rest of it i'd remember something
memory loss sure is a hard knock life
[When encouraged in his wordplay, Sans can't not toss in a bit more.]
(i love how the private and public ones veered off)
BUT SERIOUSLY!
I'M STARTING TO THINK.
WE MIGHT BE GOING ABOUT THIS WRONG.
HAS ANYONE MENTIONED TO YOU, HOW THEY STARTED REMEMBERING THINGS?
you never know where things will go with skeletons
some of 'em seem to just figure stuff out when they're doing something similar to what they used to do
angus said seeing all of us helped him out
and i saw him remember something about the murals when he saw a new one
actually
that's when i remembered lucretia too
so i guess that makes two mural memories
rattling bundles of mysteries and surprises
YOU MIGHT BE ON TO SOMETHING!
I REMEMBERED THINGS ABOUT MY DOG,
WHEN I SAW THE MURAL ABOUT SUMMONING FAMILIARS.
IT WAS A VERY FAMURAL SIGHT.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT I USED TO DO YET.
MAYBE YOU LOOKED AT ART A LOT.
I'LL TRY SOME NEW THINGS, AND SEE IF ANY DO THE TRICK.
