[Time for a text message to the network, as Papyrus takes up Sans' suggestion... several weeks after the fact.]
IT. HAS. BEEN. TEN. WEEKS.
AND I AM AT MY LIMIT.
PEOPLE WHO'VE REGAINED LOTS OF MEMORIES,
WHAT IS YOUR SECRET???
HOW DID YOU DO IT!?
I BARELY REMEMBER ANYTHING AND I'M TIRED OF IT!!
THE DOG KEEPS HINTING,
THAT I COULD REMEMBER THINGS FASTER.
BUT WHEN I ASK HOW IT JUST WINKS AND WALKS AWAY.
IF I HAVE TO PUBLISH POETRY, I'LL DO IT.
[ooc: As always, I'm happy to drop the capslock or the font for readability if it helps, just let me know! (They continue IC because Papyrus.)]

[that he fears and loathes for NO REASON]

I DON'T KNOW. I HAVEN'T. TRIED TASTING HIM?
I JUST EAT THE FOOD.
[Michael whatever you get up to with the chef is your business of course, but please don't assume that Papyrus is up to the same.]
no subject
Have you seen it?
[It's GROSS and SLIMY and EVERYONE HATES IT, PROBABLY]
no subject
UMM. I THINK I HAVE.
SITTING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BAR. LOTS OF ARMS.
AM I THINKING OF THE RIGHT SQUID CHEF??
no subject
It's gross!
no subject
JUST BECAUSE HE'S NOT AS HANDSOME AS A SKELETON,
OR AS CUTE AS A DOG,
OR AS. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF?
no subject
He's a gross drippy squid monster
no subject
I WASN'T THAT ATTACHED TO THE PLACE ANYWAY!!
I'LL LOOK FOR A FOOD CART. WITH DRY, NOT AT ALL DRIPPY FOOD.
no subject
[feels weird, but he's right on this one]

So he shelves any returns to Miso Fou's for other times, and for now finds a food cart near a nice seating alcove to wait in. The food is very dry. Flakey. One might even describe it as pastries.]
ARE YOU FULL UP ON OTHER POTIONS, BY THE WAY?
no subject
He'll even collect a pastry, before joining Papyrus with a pretty palpable air of uncertainty.]
Uh - no, not really? Is that a thing? [does everyone just have a bunch of potions and he's been unaware?]
no subject
Of course it's a thing. It's a thing for me! [Skeleton trendsetter here, thank you.] Brewing potions, it just comes so naturally...
And it's good preparation, to have something to drink, at all times. In case of vending machines, or thirst, or just needing a little boost.
[That vending machine. It's stopped flinging vials at him, but how long will that peace last, really?]
no subject
[Michael takes a bite of his pastry, chewing thoughtfully. He guesses he does get thirsty, sometimes.]
Never made any, myself.

[Papyrus' eyesockets boggle, though he quickly tones it down as he tries to hide his surprise.]
I saw - uh, people - cooking, and it just seemed so natural. Mixing things together, and making something new... I had to give it a shot, and I got great at it so quickly!
[Like magic. Or subconscious memory.]
